The Main Menu can show up in two ways: instantly or in a smooth unfolding manner.
Unfolding 1 and Unfolding 2 are two slightly different versions of the unfolding effect.

Moreover, there are additional effects for the appearance of the Main Menu in IE5.5+ browsers. These IE5.5+ only values make the Main Menu appear using the "Unfolding 2" effect in the non-IE5.5+ browsers.
