Hello,

I purchased the Pro account today (before installing product because I had tried a trial version on a previous computer and loved it) and attempted to install on my new computer but I cannot get the program to load... It installed and loaded enough for me to enter my account information, which was verified as correct, and I saw the little photo frame and it was when I clicked it to add a photo that I got the following error:
A CRITICAL ERROR HAS OCCURRED!
THE PROGRAM SHOULD BE TERMINATED
I am running Windows Vista 64 Bit Home Premium SP1

Thanks so much in advance for any help, I am very anxious to run the program!! Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,

Windows Vista has introduced a new way of controlling user access and
it seems that, especially in "home" editions, you cannot have a user
with true Administrator rights anymore.

This is the reason the application will always run from within the setup
(which runs with administrator rights) but not from your desktop
afterwards.

Please try disabling the UAC (User Account Control) as this may solve
the problem. You can find more information on how to do this here:

t-control-uac-in-windows-vista/ (http://www.mydigitallife.info/2006/12/19/turn-off-or-disable-user-accoun t-control-uac-in-windows-vista/)

Please try this and let us know if you were able to successfuly open the application.

Thank you,
The Photo Frame Show team
