Hello!
We have decided to embrace the Adobe AIR technology for the Desktop Application of Photo Frame Show, as we believe it provides enhanced functionality along with cross-platform support.
What all this means is that you get more features (than the previous Standard, "windows-only version) along with the ability to also use it in Macintosh and Linux computers!
You can find and download this new version at our download page (http://frameshow.com/download.htm), along with the old Standard "windows-only" version).
You can also check the "What's New (http://www.frameshow.com/photoframecommunity/showthread.php?t=284)" thread frequently for info on new releases.
OR visit the "Adobe AIR Desktop Application" SubForum (http://www.frameshow.com/photoframecommunity/forumdisplay.php?f=107) to view all related news and discussions.
Notes:
- The "Adobe AIR" version is currently under intense BETA development and is updated frequently. The good news with AIR is that it notifies you of any updates immediately after you open the application, so that you always have the latest build installed.
- BETA and frequent updates also mean, well... bugs. So, please submit any issues (or feature requests) by opening threads on this forum so that we can fix them quickly! Thanks!
- The old Standard "Windows-only" version will not be updated anymore. All users of that version should gradually migrate to the new "AIR" version. You will have access to all your licensed frames on the new environment without any problems.
