Beta when?

The Adobe AIR BETA application is expected to be released on Friday, May 22, 2009, so no actual download link for the BETA exists yet. Please check again on May 22.

Hmm, it is now Sunday, May 24, 2009 :)

Will this support Vista 64 bit, as the Win only application didn't.

Hello,

Some late issues made us postpone the initial release. The new plan is to release on Friday, May 29 (or earlier if we are ready).

We are sorry for this delay but we have to make sure that the BETA is as stable as possible before release!

Now, concerning the Vista 64bit support, the answer is YES. We have tested the application in both Vista 64bit and Windows 7 (64bit), and it works as expected without any problems!

That is brilliant! I loved the original program, and unfortunately had to stop using it when I switched to Vista 64.

I guess all we now need are pricing details, how long the beta will be valid for, any limitations for the beta ........... ;)

It is now 5.24pm in Greece, 3.24pm here in UK ... and no sign of the beta yet :( Am I the only person looking forward to the beta release :rolleyes:

Which means, just be patient a couple of hours and you will enjoy an excellent "meal" from our software Chef!

Seriously, our delay caused a much better tested release and solved many bugs which you wouldn't like to experience yourself.

I will post again here when we release (in a couple of hours). :)

Let us know what you think please (use separate threads for separate issues if possible) and if everything is working as expected.

I need to inform current users of the "Standard" version that the "Leave to Desktop/Get from Desktop" functionality is not fully implemented yet, so you will not find it inside this initial release. We are working on delivering this feature also in a subsequent release.
